Dodford church is a Grade 1 listed building located within a tiny village with beautiful views over open countryside in the heart of Northamptonshire.  It has the benefit of two wedding venues, one at each end of the village.  These are Dodford Manor and Dodmoor House.  Access to both these venues are directly off the A45 and A5 respectively, however getting married in Dodford church is not subject to Receptions being held at either of these two venues.  The church can accommodate 150 people in the pews with extra seating available if necessary.

There is a church organ fully restored in 2017, plus a Hymnal, a piano and a peal of six bells.

Within the constraints of a Grade 1 listed building Dodford church provides ramps providing disabled access; access can be arranged directly to the front door.  There is no loop system for the hard of hearing. For the visually impaired there are a few larger print service booklets and only one large print hymn book available. If you require larger print please contact the Church Secretary ahead of the service you are attending so an appropriate print size can be made available for you.  Assistance and Guide dogs are most welcome.

PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO TOILET FACILITIES available.  There are no meeting facilities.  Dress warmly as heating is limited.

Parking is limited in the car park directly opposite the church.  Please park facing towards or away from the wall not up or down the slope.  With very careful considerate parking using normal vehicle spaces around 16 vehicles are available so please don't block access.  There may be further parking available at the village hall.

Wedding guests: please park at your wedding venue not the church - bell ringers need this space on wedding days.

Wedding couples:  Please note weddings are not conducted on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, High Days or Holy Days.  Also, if you do not already have appropriate qualifying criteria you MUST attend services regularly at Dodford for an absolute minimum of 8 months before your wedding to comply with legislation.  Attending for at least a year or more prior to your wedding is encouraged.

Roads through the village are single track and not suitable for volume traffic.  The road leading up to the church is used by VERY LARGE agricultural vehicles so please do not park directly opposite or in front of any gates as access is required at all times.

We look forward to meeting you.
